We provide support to parents whose children are undergoing any form of Diagnosis that will impact the learner’s education.
Emotional and practical support that will continue once diagnosis is formed to provide ongoing support to families and learners. The support will be via termly group sessions to promote parental relationships for a support group. We will also hold meetings to help parents individually as requested by parents. We aim to host quarterly free training workshops for parents to join us and access any additional support.
This will help some of the most complex children’s families access support that they understand and that they may not have been able to access independently. There are limited services available at the moment in the East Midlands, none locally, but the further afield services charge for these types of services. We are offering free quarterly training workshops for all parents and carers. We are also hosting termly parent meets, to provide parents the chance to meet other parents in similar situations and create a local support group. We hope this will ease the pressure of other services that are overwhelmed and help ease parents back into a routine
We endeavour to raise funds via grants, fundraising events and the profits from the tuition. This helps to promote the services and support those who are not yet with an EHCP that need financial support with accessing a suitable learning experience for learners with SEND or SEMH difficulties. This means we can offer the support that schools are not able to provide.
We assist learners who are not financially able to fund private assessments, or tutoring services. Furthermore, awareness building will make the wider community aware of our services and what we have to offer.
We are offering a discounted pricing structure for our service for those who are not able to finance their own assessments.
We will fund some of the placements and assessments from the CIC to help those in need via a secure pot of funds which are allocated via a criteria list that will help us determine who is most in need. This will be monitored and updated quarterly and feedback on our community aspect will be published on our social media and website to promote the support we are offering.
Tuition is best delivered in small groups to gain confidence, peer to peer learning, knowledge and provides a positive learning experience.
We carefully group our learners to make it accessible for all. As a maximum, children and young adults can only attend our setting for 2 days a week.
